Spiced Life Conversation is a growing library of books, essays, conversations, courses, journals, practical tools, and personal stories about what happens when a woman spends years building her life around being chosen, needed, approved of, or useful to other people.

Eventually, she may look up and realize:

I built a life, but somewhere along the way, I disappeared inside it.

This library is about what happens next.

What You'll Find Here

I write about the places women can lose themselves and the work of finding their way back.

That means we may talk about:

Relationships
Codependency, anxious attachment, abandonment, people-pleasing, fawning, boundaries, marriage, intimacy, and the desire to be chosen.

Self-Trust & Identity
Why you break promises to yourself, lose your sense of self in relationships, wait for permission, struggle with self-worth, or have trouble making decisions that are truly yours.

Food & Emotional Coping
Emotional eating, stress eating, sugar, low-sugar living, and what happens when food becomes the place you go to feel better.

The Body
Body confidence, digestive wellness, nutrition, sexual health, intimacy, painful sex, aging, and learning to live inside your body rather than constantly evaluating it.

Money & Wanting More
Why receiving can feel uncomfortable, why some women feel guilty wanting money, why being needed can feel safer than being wealthy, and why success can sometimes feel like a threat to relationships.

Building Your Own Life
Work, ambition, motherhood, marriage, creativity, rest, individuality, aging, spirituality, and the courage to stop waiting for someone else to tell you that you're ready.

These aren't separate subjects to me.

They're different places where the same question keeps showing up:

What happens when a woman has spent so much of her life choosing other people that she has forgotten how to choose herself?

I Built the Library I Needed

For years, I looked for answers to questions I didn't always know how to ask.

Why did I keep losing myself in relationships?

Why was it so hard to trust my own decisions?

Why did saying no feel so uncomfortable?

Why did I keep waiting to be chosen?

Why was it easier to give than receive?

Why could I build a life for everyone else but struggle to build one for myself?

Why did food become such a reliable place to go when I felt overwhelmed, lonely, angry, or depleted?

Some answers came through recovery.

Some came through nutrition.

Some came through relationships.

Some came through faith.

Some came through writing.

And a lot of them came from simply living long enough to finally see my own patterns clearly.

I started putting those lessons into words.

Eventually, those words became books, essays, conversations, frameworks, courses, journals, and practical tools.

That's what Spiced Life Conversation is becoming: the library I needed when I was trying to understand myself.

Start With the Question That Brought You Here

You don't have to read everything.

You don't have to follow a perfect path.

Start with the thing you can't stop thinking about.

If you're wondering why you keep losing yourself in relationships...

Start with the Gutty Girl Self-Abandonment Recovery Path.

Explore writing about codependency, people-pleasing, abandonment, anxious attachment, boundaries, identity, and learning to choose yourself.

If you're tired of breaking promises to yourself...

Start with Becoming Self-Led™.

This is the work of building self-trust, making decisions for yourself, keeping your word, and learning that you don't need permission to build your life.

If food has become your coping mechanism...

Explore Emotional Eating & Low-Sugar Living.

This section looks at the relationship between emotional coping, stress, food, sugar, nourishment, and the body.

If your body has changed and you're trying to understand what comes next...

Explore the BodyPeace work.

This includes writing and education around nourishment, body confidence, aging, intimacy, sexual health, and reconnecting with your body.

If you know you want more but feel strangely afraid of it...

Start with the writing about money, receiving, ambition, success, and wanting more.

Because sometimes the hardest part isn't figuring out what you want.

It's believing you're allowed to want it.

The Becoming Self-Led™ Library

The library will continue to grow, but the work keeps returning to a few ideas:

Self-Abandonment
The ways we leave ourselves to maintain connection, approval, peace, or belonging.

Self-Trust
The ability to listen to yourself, make decisions, keep promises, and follow through.

Becoming Self-Led™
Learning to direct your own life instead of waiting for other people to tell you who to be, what to want, or when you're ready.

The Regulated Life™
Building a life that allows you to respond instead of constantly reacting from fear, pressure, guilt, or overwhelm.

BodyPeace
Learning to reconnect with, nourish, inhabit, and trust your body.

The Four Levels of Healing
A structured path for moving from awareness and forgiveness toward commitment, self-worth, self-trust, and a life you actually choose.

These ideas will show up across different books, articles, conversations, courses, and tools.

You don't have to memorize the names.

Just follow the ideas that speak to you.

You Don't Need to Fix Yourself Before You Begin

You are not a project that needs to be repaired before you can have a life.

You may have patterns you want to change.

You may have relationships you need to rethink.

You may need better boundaries.

You may want to change how you eat.

You may want to rebuild your relationship with your body.

You may want more money.

You may want to create something of your own.

You may want to experience pleasure again.

You may simply want to figure out who you are when you're not busy taking care of everybody else.

You can begin there.

The work isn't about becoming a completely different woman.

It's about becoming more available for your own life.

You Don't Have to Know Exactly What You're Looking For

Maybe you arrived because you searched:

Why do I keep losing myself in relationships?

Maybe it was:

Why do I feel guilty saying no?

Maybe:

Why do I keep breaking promises to myself?

Maybe you're trying to stop emotional eating.

Maybe you're struggling to receive.

Maybe you're afraid to want more.

Maybe you're simply tired.

Whatever brought you here, start there.

Read something.

Listen to something.

Notice what makes you pause.

Then follow the thread.

Because sometimes the beginning of coming back to yourself is simply realizing:

I've been here the whole time.

You just haven't been listening to me.

Welcome to Spiced Life Conversation

The Becoming Self-Led™ Media Library for the Woman Learning to Trust Herself.

I'm Dr. Nikki LeToya White, and I'm glad you're here.

Before You Go Any Further, Here's Who I Am

I'm not a lifestyle influencer who decided to start writing about women's emotional wellness.

I spent 17 years working as a counselor, helping people understand patterns, relationships, recovery, emotional health, and the ways our past experiences can shape the lives we build.

I also know this work personally.

I've had my own seasons of losing myself, people pleasing, struggling with abandonment, using food to cope, questioning my identity, learning to trust myself again, and figuring out how to build a life that actually belongs to me.

My education and professional experience gave me one kind of understanding.

Living through it gave me another.

Today, I'm no longer providing counseling.

I'm taking what I've learned through my professional background, education, recovery, and lived experience and turning it into writing, education, conversations, tools, books, and resources for women.

That's what you'll find here.

I'm not here to diagnose you or be your therapist.

I'm here to give you language for what you may be experiencing, share what I've learned, and create resources that help you think about your life differently.

The writing is the work.

And this library is where I'm putting it.
